An appreciation ceremony for students who passed the Advanced Level Examination in 2024 and qualified for the university in the primary round, held at Rupa Karunathilaka Theatre on 2025/05/08.
There faculty of medical, faculty of engineering, faculty of law, faculty of management, engineering. It's special that students have been selected for the highest degree courses in the faculty of technology, and the faculty of biosystems technology. It is a great achievement to have a group of 1115 students in the primary round.

Green and Blue Cricket battle was held successfully on 2025/04/20
Two leading cricket playing schools in Elpitiya Educational Zone, Gamini National School Bentota and Ananda Central College Elpitiya will clash in their 5th ‘Battle of Greens and Blues’’ at Galle International Cricket Stadium on April 25 and 26.
This annual cricket encounter started in 2017 as a one day limited overs match. Gamini National School Bentota leading the series with three wins in the limited overs games. First 2-day game was drawn. Ananda Central College Elpitiya has not record a win so far.
Both schools played in under 19 division three tier ‘A’ tournament.
Vimukthi Vidarshana is the captain of Gamini National School Bentota and Sachin Sathsindu will lead Ananda Central College Elpitiya in this year’s big match.

Admission ceremony of fresher students for Grade 6
An admission ceremony of fresher students for grade 6 to Ga/Ananda Middle School on 11th April 2025 AM. Wa. Roopa Karunathilaka theatre at 8.30 to perform it with a grand ceremony.
Vidyodya Surya Mangaliya 2025
The "Vidyodya Surya Mangaliya 2025" organized by the Science Department of Ananda M.M. College ended successfully on 11 April.
With the aim of providing fun with knowledge and bequeathing Sri Lankan culture to the future, the Avurudu festival was held with the organizational strength of the students of this department under the guidance of the teachers of the Science Department.
Similarly, in Grade 11, under the guidance of the teachers, an Avurudu festival was held in the school premises with many folk games.
Ananda Central College wins Girls' Football Championship
Ananda Central College wins first ever girls' football championship...
The Ananda College girls' team won the Galle District runner-up title in the Samaposha Under-14 tournament organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Football Association.
The school's sports department thanks the football team's in-charge, Prof. P.B.A. Sadaruwan and Mrs. Amalsha Dissanayake, and the head coach, Ishara Dilip Kumara.
The best player of the tournament was our school's player, Akeshi Nivarthana.
Under 19 (Division 111) Cricket Tournament
Elpitiya Ananda Central College achieved its third consecutive victory in the Under-19 (Division 111) cricket tournament today against Mahanama National School, Monaragala. Warm congratulations to the team of coaches including Head Coach Nishantha, who is working hard to train for this, the children of the team who are showing good skills, and the new cricket administration of the school.
