The English Unit of the school bears the responsibility of upgrading the standards and fluencies (verbal, written, communicative and, discourse fluency) of English among the students from grade 6-13 and handles edition of English versions of most of the printed and digital materials published or broadcast by the school.
Presently, the unit consists of 11 teachers. Under their guidance and monitoring, various co-curricular activities are conducted in the school. The Speaking Club, Reading Club, Writers’ Club, Drama Club, English Street project, Scrabble Club, and, Literary Associations of all grades, are some of those projects running in the school. All these activities have been designed with the objective of creating an engaging environment which helps acquisition of the language for the students in a stress-free manner and to make them ready to face the challenges of 21st Century.
